We began as a group of friends who came together through our child with a disability. While we met to offer each other support as carers, we also had a mainstream sibling and struggled to find activities that the whole family could access.
Many families can find entertaing the kids a challenge, but when you have to divide your family in half to meet everyones needs, it can be hurtful.
We were inspired to change this and set about designing a programme of events that were suitable for everyone to attend. We believe that a family who play together are stronger, happier and healthier.
We now operate as a charity run by a board of Trustees and a group of volunteers, supporting around 50 families through Chorley and surrounding areas. We remain a non-profit organisation.
We have grown over the years and now offer a selection of events tailored to meet many different needs.
