Helping cricket clubs raise funds to support themselves during the COVID-19 crisis
Due to the Covid-19 global pandemic, all recreational cricket is suspended, therefore we, like all other clubs, have no income coming in to the club but still have expenditure costs. Whilst we have ensured that any any non-essential work is stopped we still need to maintain our facilities, namely our square and our outfield and be prepared to restart cricket as soon as possible. We have also lost valuable revenue streams such as sponsorship (through no cricket to sponsor or our local sponsors are in financial difficulties themselves), fund raising activities that we would normally run such as our annual golf tournament and kids cricket tournaments, as well as the main source of income which is in the form of subscriptions from our adult and junior members.
