Hessle Cricket Club By Hessle Cricket Club

Please help Hessle Cricket Club through the covid-19 crisis so that we can continue to offer cricket for adults and juniors of the community once it is safe to do so.

This project was funded on 25 May 2020!

The funds raised from this will be used to continue to carry out essential maintenance on the wicket which will provide a quality playing surface for years to come. Even with no cricket currently been played, work on the playing surface still has to continue ready for a return to cricket for all age groups. Funds would also be used in our continued commitment to junior cricket as we look to purchase new equipment to deliver training sessions again once it is safe to do so. Normally these funds would be generated through annual and weekly subscriptions and other fundraising which is currently not happening during this crisis.

What we'll deliver:

  • Continued Maintenance of playing facilities to be used by the community
  • Deliver quality Youth Cricket Coaching to players aged 5-16 years

Why it's a great idea:

This will massively support the cricket club with overhead costs that have not been able to be funded through Sport England or ECB funding as this has been used to cover main overheads of the joint Cricket and Rugby Club and clubhouse. Also after the most successful year of junior intake last season we want to continue to build on this success and do everything we can to be ready when it is safe to return to coaching.

Steps to get it done:
