The idea
With the news of the announcement from the ECB that there will be no professional (let alone amateur) cricket until at least the 1st July. Willey CC is left with bills to play no income.
The ECB will donate £100 to our cause once we hit a £100 towards our target. Our bills are around £150 per month and we have decided to set up this crowdfunding page to help towards paying two months’ worth of bills.
We want to ensure that there is a place where the whole community can come together to play and enjoy cricket. We’ll need it more than ever once this is all over.
What we'll deliver
- Help pay essential overheads during the Covid 19 crisis
- Cover ground maintenance and critical running costs
Why it's a great idea
With the cricket season yet to start, and all of our normal fundraising activity cancelled we have no income. Yet we still have our bills to pay!
We love our cricket club and want it to survive this crisis. With your help we can re-open again once it is safe to do so.
