Our cricket club relies on subs and sponsorships to survive. We need your help during the COVID-19 crisis to ensure that we can continue to serve the community once everything re-opens.
With the news of the announcement from the ECB that there will be no professional (let alone amateur) cricket until at least the 1st July. Willey CC is left with bills to play no income. The ECB will donate £100 to our cause once we hit a £100 towards our target. Our bills are around £150 per month and we have decided to set up this crowdfunding page to help towards paying two months’ worth of bills. We want to ensure that there is a place where the whole community can come together to play and enjoy cricket. We’ll need it more than ever once this is all over.

Why it's a great idea:
With the cricket season yet to start, and all of our normal fundraising activity cancelled we have no income. Yet we still have our bills to pay! We love our cricket club and want it to survive this crisis. With your help we can re-open again once it is safe to do so.

VolunteerWe are a friendly club that has been part of the local community of Barrow and Broseley for over 125 years.
We are a not for profit organisation run by volunteers and players. We have a wide and varied membership operating two senior teams in league cricket, a mixed friendly team playing on Sundays and also run junior coaching for all age groups.
Our picturesque ground is much loved by all who visit and recently made the final 8 of a countywide best ground poll.
