The idea
We want to update/refurb our play area and purchase new play equipment to replace what has had to be removed due to being unsafe. New equipment could cover general play, jumping, climbing, balance and sensory fields. We would love to replace everything and even be able to add more modern equipment this of course depends on funds. We would also like to make the play area accessible to all children, no matter what mental or physical ability. This was missing in the old play area. Why it's a great idea
We believe we can provide a welcoming and safe play area which will benefit the community, where all children and families can interact and play together, encouraging outside exercise and community spirit. This might be while families are watching sports at the Club like football, cricket, tennis or bowling or attending other events.
Steps to get it done
- Order play equipment to be sited in play area
- Agree terms with contractor to install the new equipment
- Install accessible path from club to play area
- Manage installation of new play area
- Open the play area to the community
