We are looking to purchase new play equipment to replace what has had to be removed in our dedicated kid's play area at Malpas & District Sports Club.
We want to update/refurb our play area and purchase new play equipment to replace what has had to be removed due to being unsafe. New equipment could cover general play, jumping, climbing, balance and sensory fields. We would love to replace everything and even be able to add more modern equipment this of course depends on funds. We would also like to make the play area accessible to all children, no matter what mental or physical ability. This was missing in the old play area. Helping support the project is where the local community come in…

Why it's a great idea:
We believe we can provide a welcoming and safe play area which will benefit the community, where all children and families can interact and play together, encouraging outside exercise and community spirit. This might be while families are watching sports at the Club like football, cricket, tennis or bowling or attending other events.

VolunteerMalpas Sports Club is situated minutes from the centre of the village with views to the Welsh Hills. The aim of the Club is to provide first class facilities for those who live and work in the area, and for those facilities to cater for a number of different sports, both for participating and spectating, and to hold social gatherings of many differing types.
Football, cricket, bowls and tennis have regular teams and age groups from 6 years of age, with qualified coaches and mentors at all age groups, and the snooker, darts and pool teams are well established in their respective leagues.
Very much a Club with members of all age groups, with a healthy growing list of playing and social members, Malpas Sports Club is set to continue its growth in the coming years
