The idea
Dynamos Cricket is a new programme which we will be running this summer where children from 8-11 years old can be introduced to cricket in a fun and safe way.
Covid19 has majorly hit our fundraising and in order to run the programme successfully we need to raise additional funds. The fundraising will be used to pay for the necessary coaching, first aid and safeguarding courses for our volunteers.
What we'll deliver
- Coaching, First Aid and Safeguarding courses for our volunteers
- Deliver the Dynamos Programme for 8-11 year olds
- An opportunity to learn new skills and make new friendships
Why it's a great idea
Building on the success of the Mens National England Cricket last summer and the introduction of our women's and girls section, we want to inspire the next generation.
Dynamos will will provide opportunities for children to become more active and learn new skills in a fun and safe environment. It will also build even stronger links with our local Hightown community.
Steps to get it done
- Run the crowdfunding campaign to collect funds
- Pay for the costs of running the programme
- Start planning for when the lockdown ends
