The idea
As a small village club in a semi-rural setting, like many others, we rely on the income generated by playing memberships, tea noney and other income generated from matchdays. As it is likely that at least a large part of the 2020 season will be affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, it is our aim to raise funds towards covering the major annual bills; including insurance, machinery/equipment hire and fuel.
"Every little helps", as they say.
We would be extremely grateful for anyone who is willing to spread the word or even donate to the cause.
Thank you for your support.
What we'll deliver
- To support the club through this challenging period and allow it to survive and thrive for many years to come.
Why it's a great idea
The club offers cricketing opportunities, in both fun and competitive environments, to individuals of all abillities who are eligible to play adult cricket. Our current squad consists of players in their teenage years to players in their 60s. We hope to ensure that this can continue for many years to come, once 'normality' resumes.
Steps to get it done
- Reaching £100 to enable us to receive the ECB pledge to match it with a further £100
