We're crowdfunding to support local people in crisis through the COVID-19 crisis by keeping our Food Banks stocked!

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. There has been a large increase in people requiring help during the Covid-19 pandemic and we are eager to respond. Before this crisis we were supporting around 5,400 people in a year. We rely entirely on donations - both financial and food/basic hygiene items. Our normal sources of food donations are greatly reduced at this time and we are seeing the number of clients increase. The project aims to support our foodbanks in Harold Hill, Collier Row/Romford and Rainham. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. Thank you for your support. It makes a difference on the ground.

As we face an unprecedented challenge the local Food Banks are more important than ever for the most vulnerable members of our community and people in crisis due to Covid-19. Your pledge will help our Food Banks continue to support the community over the coming weeks and months.

VolunteerWe are a group of three foodbanks in the London Borough of Havering;
Harold Hill Foodbank
Collier Row Foodbank with distribution centres also in Romford
and Rainham Foodbank.
Our foodbanks are part of The Trussell Trust’s network of 428 foodbanks, working to tackle food poverty and hunger in our local communities, as well as across the UK.
We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide nutritionally balanced emergency food parcels and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis.
