The idea
Harold Wood Cricket Club helps provide cricket for anyone who wants it - whether it is for our youth academy that trains young members from 4-21 years old - our Women and Girls section or Harold Wood Warriors the group for members with learning and physical disabilities Of course we also run a vibrant adult section as well with 5 teams playing every Saturday. At this time of national emergency the club has lost all its regular income streams including member subscriptions and match fees. We are fundraising so that we can be ready to play when we are informed that we can by the government and ECB - and also be able to continue to offer all the training and options to our members to remain active and enjoying the sport that they love. One of the most important schemes we run is to provide free cricket to all members of the Harold Wood Warriors and crowdfunding will help to secure this for this season and the future.
What we'll deliver
- Deliver free cricket for members with disabilities
- Help secure the future of the club
- Get us ready to start playing when safe to do so
Why it's a great idea
Will mean the club can help to continue to offer free cricket to our disability team the Harold Wood Warriors. Mean that the club will be able to survive for this year and ahead into the future. Be able to offer all our coaching to our youth section and beyond. Open ourselves back up to the community when it is safe to do so.
Steps to get it done
