The idea
Happy Mondays is a vital initiative in Ramsgate aimed at offering a welcoming weekly social lounge for adults confronting challenges such as unemployment, mental health struggles, loneliness, and isolation. This project creates a supportive environment where individuals can engage in creative activities, build connections, and access resources to enhance their well-being. By providing a safe space, Happy Mondays helps to alleviate feelings of social exclusion, often serving as the only outing for some attendees. With a consistent turnout of 35 to 40 participants weekly, the campaign ensures continuity and community impact over six months.
