We are thrilled to share that we completed our very first Gift a Read school visit in Hammersmith & Fulham at St Paul’s CE Primary School on Worlidge Street! Every child went home with a brand new, age-appropriate book to keep forever. The excitement in that hall was something we will never forget. Mrs Siobhan Johnston, Head of School, said: “The excitement on the children’s faces as they explored the new books was wonderful to see, with many eager to dive straight into their chosen stories. Reading is such an important skill, opening doors to imagination, knowledge and creativity.” St Paul’s is just the beginning. We want to do this for all 35 primary schools in Hammersmith & Fulham — 8,500 children who each deserve a book of their own. With the summer holidays here, now is the perfect time to back us. Every pledge brings us one step closer to reaching every child in the borough. Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far — you are making this happen!
