To replace current Christmas lights that are no longer fit for purpose. Install and host Christmas light event
After 7 years of the same illuminations we need to replace the illuminations in Halesowen Town Centre. The lights help to put Halesowen on the map and stand out from other town centres. Increasing footfall to town centre, supporting local businesses by boosting the local economy. Previous years have seen our Christmas event draw over 35k people to the town making us the largest public event in the borough. The cost of the lights, installation, maintenance, running costs and the event are a large burden on the BID and due to increased costs we need funding for this to happen in 2024

The project will allow us to continue to deliver a memorable christmas to residents and businesses in Halesowen. Our event draws people to the town, not only from Halesowen but the wider borough.
