Friends of Hailey School (FOHS) is a registered charity (#1043635) that raises funds for Hailey Church of England School. We are run by a voluntary group of parents who raise funds and who provide an opportunity for all members of the school and local community to meet socially.
Hailey Church of England Primary School is a primary school located in the village of Hailey, West Oxfordshire. It has 95 pupils on roll and since January 2016 has expanded to admit children from the age of 3, with a total age range of 3-11.
The school's vision is to be recognised as the school of choice for families in the local community, balancing academic progress with the physical, moral, social and cultural development of their children. It also wants to be recognised as a school of choice for staff, providing a happy, productive working environment that supports and develops each staff member. The school's staff and governors, led by headteacher Mrs Deborah Davies, work hard to push for excellence in all aspects of school life, in order to prepare the children for their next school and later life. The school has strong links with the Church and members of the village community as well as other schools in the Witney area.
Data published by the Department for Education in 2023 based on SAT results revealed Hailey Church of England Primary School is in Oxfordshire’s top five primary schools, with over 88% of eligible students achieving the expected standard in reading, writing and maths in key stage two.
