To progress the build we relied upon a volunteer project manager and pro bono support from a local architect

By creating a community facility that makes participation in our village cricket club more attractive we expect to have positively influenced the culture of the club and the culture of community within our village.

We now have a facility for women and girls playing in mixed teams to get changed and showered in. This supports access to competitive cricket and a long term prospect for enjoyment of the game.

Great Eccleston Cricket Club runs an exceptional junior section, offering qualified and structured coaching for children aged 5 to 17. In addition to its junior programs, the club fields four senior teams and two women's-only softball teams, promoting inclusivity and participation across all demographics.
