After three weeks of hard work from volunteers, gardeners and SAW staff the SAW garden is nearing completion. Of course, we’ll be waiting for it to grow and flourish further over time. We've repaved the path, built a pergola, added a new entrance gate, built benches, planted a hedgerow, built a polytunnel, planted trees and sowed wildflower seeds. Thank you so much to all of you who donated money via Spacehive to help us buy plants, soil and seeds or donated your time by volunteering to dig or plant trees. We’d love to invite you to our Garden Celebration on 24 June, 4-8pm You can see more photos here: https://www.saw-newcastle.org/saw-garden-design/

An enormous thank you to North of Tyne CA for donating £1,330 to Grow SAW’s garden! We’ve raised £3,230 so far - a huge 84% of the project! We’re looking forward to starting to grow the garden and feasting with you in the future! The project is set up for overfunding, so even if we reach 100% we can still raise more for additional plants and colourful paint for the fence.
