Growing Rosemary & Time Dementia Support

Thank you so much for all of your kind pledges, lovely messages and for giving our project wings! I am feeling quite humbled by just how supportive everyone has been and the personal stories folk have shared with me. Please know that this campaign will help us to reach more people affected by dementia, making their days fun filled, laughter fuelled and just a bit less daunting than they otherwise may have been. You made this possible and for that I want to say thank you, from everyone here at Rosemary and TIme xxxxx.

Thank you so much to everyone for all of your support. We do still have 13 days left so are going to keep going for those last few days. Please know that any extra funding will be used to provide refreshments in the form of lunch for those people attending our new Monday dementia friendly over 60's group. (It will get a more catchy name, honestly xx)

Thank you does not seem enough! We have reached our target and could not have done it without all of our generous supporters. No matter how much you pledged, please know that it will make a difference to our groups. We can add extra sessions each month and bring in more gifted people to make our activities even better!! All of this means that more people affected by dementia will have even more carefree, banter filled times where their diagnosis does not take centre stage....they do. So thank you so much, from all of us. xx

How many times do we say that? Well last Friday we had the most energetic sing along I have seen in a while......and that is saying something. Drums, tambourines and good old sleigh bells were adding to the joyous sound. So why the gnomes? We had started the session by beginning to create a Friday Friends Poem - based on what is means to us. The gnomes were mentioned and I remebered loving how different they all were, despite us all having the same paints, the same gnome. They were all creatively named too! That is like dementia - many people get the same diagnosis, but they are all still beautifully unique, something we embrace. A huge thank you to all of you that are kindly pledging to our campaign, from every one of us, including Norman, Norbett, Santa (on holiday), Snowy and Soul Saver!!
