Purchase of up to date gymnastics equipment, to allow more children to participate in gymnastics, and our elite gymnasts to fulfil their gymnastics potential.
Greenwich royal Gymnastic Club would like to purchase much needed gymnastics equipment... to support aspiring athletes to achieve their potential. The equipment will allow our athlete to train for National level competitions, and have the ability to train on the same level equipment that they will compete on in competition. New equipment will also allow us to increase the number of children taking part in gymnastics at the entry level.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
We have a number of greatly talented gymnasts at a high level, some of which are preparing for National competitions, and Madeline Roberts who is part of the GB National squad preparing for international competition. Their potential to succeed further however, is limited, due to substandard equipment. The purchase of new equipment, will give our gymnasts the opportunity to fulfil their talent. We have the talent, we have the knowledgeable coaches, we even have the premises.... we just need the equipment!
Steps to get it done:
We currently have over 900 participants taking part in gymnastics every week. We would like to offer the opportunity to at least another 100 participants - having additional equipment would help us in doing this too!
