Daubeney Primary School is a a three-form entry primary school in Hackney. It has served the children and the families of the local community. since 1884 Daubeney welcomes children, paretns and careers to its dynamic and ever evolving ‘Daubeney family’, with the constant desire for all members of our community to aspire to achieve their best in their chosen pursuit of happiness.
Daubeney School helps children to develop their social, emotional and physical skills as well as achieve academic success. By doing so it prepares children for a healthy and successful future in the real world. Our expectation is that parents, staff and children work together to achieve this aim.
The Parent, Carers and Teachers Association (previously 'Friends of Daubeney') was re-formed in September 2018 and is is an organisation of parents, carers and staff. Its role is to encourage closer links between home and school and organise fundraising events to provide an opportunity for parents, staff and pupils to get together. Funds raised by the PCTA are intended to provide extras not already provided by the school's main income – things that can enrich puplis school experience, making learning more interesting and exciting. Daubeney Parent association and the Executive Head teacher decide how to spend funds.
