To repair and rebuild the raised beds on site and increase the size of the poly tunnel
As many of the the raised beds are showing their age and are in need to replacement to enable the less able to enjoy gardening. we also use poly tunnels to raise food crops and bedding plants for sale to the local community.

VolunteerGoscote Greenacres was set up as a means to bring adults with learning disabilities and the local community together as a way to tackle prejudice. we run a volunteer scheme for adults with learning disabilities who help maintain the site. it gives them a chance to feel part of the local community. The plot holders are all from the local community which has high levels of unemployment, poor health outcomes and below average educational attainment. As we have many raised beds it allows the less able to enjoy gardening and reap the benfits if freshly grown local produce.
