The centre has been given a new lease of life to provide a space for youngsters and the wider community alike. The Sports Hall needs air ventilation to prevent dangerous condensation on the flooring.
The Youth centre has been reborn and is proving extremely popular with local children from both Gosberton and surrounding villages. Over the past year, we have upgraded most of the exterior and are now focussing on the inside of the building. The halls have been painted, new heating installed and a new floor has been fitted in the sports hall. This project is to update and improve the air quality in the sports hall and to prevent the build up of dangerous condensation on the new floor.

All our current users will benefit. Our busy Youth Hubs have over 180 children registered. We hold community hubs and the upgrade will benefit the wider community. Our fundraising sessions include weekly bingo which attracts on average 60 people a week. The hall will be more usable for groups to rent the sports facilities.
Steps to get it done:
Our centre offers both a meeting room and sports hall facilities. The building has become a very important part of the local community both for children and adults. Improving the Sports Hall will enhance our building and hopefully increase our success.

VolunteerGosberton Youth Centre is primarily for young people, from seven to the age of seventeen years and formed, many years ago, to help them grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society. In addition, the centre provides a comfortable environment for the wider community. We currently run a community café / warm space. The building is available for hire for parties etc.
Project Owner: Gosberton Youth Centre The Project Owner takes legal responsibility for receiving and spending the funds raised and ensuring the project is delivered.
