The project will be run by our two resident artists; Andrea Sinclair and Florence Goodhand-Tait.
As a senior artist and co-founder of Art in the Park, Andrea has worked on a variety of projects across various media including copper embossing and etching, pewter casting and textiles. Andrea was project manager of ‘Flow’, an Arts and Wellbeing project funded by Southwark NHS. She also managed Art in the Park’s role in The Roots Story a fascinating joint project between Art in the Park and Southwark Pensioners Centre looking at the history of Baldwin’s, a local Herbalist, through oral history, art and gardening.
Florence studied Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts, UAL, graduating in 2016; she has since participated in a number of exhibitions, including a solo exhibition at Nandine, as part of Camberwell Arts Festival in June of 2018. As well as being a resident artist for Art in the Park where she coordinates and runs projects for community groups, she is also a senior workshop leader for Bold Everywhere, and assists with community outreach workshops for Inspire.
Andrea and Florence have been working well together for four years and have developed an innovative approach to running workshops for all ages.
