The idea
University Centre Weston graduates will take three shows to the renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August. This opportunity is unprecedented for University Centre Weston and other educational institutes across North Somerset. We are excited to be flying the flag for Weston-Super-Mare at the Fringe! We will return to North Somerset after the Fringe and put on four performances for people across North Somerset to enjoy. We will be taking three experimental, engaging and electrifying shows to the fringe, which explore themes linked to respect in society. Your support will enable us to take our shows to the Fringe and return to bring our shows to North Somerset Audiences.

- 21 performances of 3 plays at the Fringe
- September 2018 4 FREE performances as part of the North Somerset Tour
Why it's a great idea
The shows will support the local economy as well as enhancing and invigorating the theatrical landscape of North Somerset. The shows will also help diversify the cultural landscape of North Somerset by adding to the vibrancy and generation of new cultural initiatives in the area.
Steps to get it done
- Creating a marketing campaign for both the Edinburgh Fringe and our North Somerset tour.
- Performing our three shows at the Edinburgh Fringe.
- Returning to North Somerset with a tour of our three shows.
