University Centre Weston students are waving the flag for Weston at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Help us get there and return triumphantly with a tour of North Somerset.
University Centre Weston graduates will take three shows to the renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival this August. This opportunity is unprecedented for University Centre Weston and other educational institutes across North Somerset. We are excited to be flying the flag for Weston-Super-Mare at the Fringe! We will return to North Somerset after the Fringe and put on four performances for people across North Somerset to enjoy. We will be taking three experimental, engaging and electrifying shows to the fringe, which explore themes linked to respect in society. Your support will enable us to take our shows to the Fringe and return to bring our shows to North Somerset Audiences.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
The shows will support the local economy as well as enhancing and invigorating the theatrical landscape of North Somerset. The shows will also help diversify the cultural landscape of North Somerset by adding to the vibrancy and generation of new cultural initiatives in the area.
Steps to get it done:
One of the shows The Vanishing "A beautiful, emotional and amusing contemporary piece about care home residents and the pivotal memory’s of their lives. Performed sincerely to represent those who shaped us and the world today." For dates, times and more information about all three shows.
