The idea
Walsall Photographic Society was founded in 1892 and has been closely linked with Walsall for 132 years .Steeped in history but focused on the future. Our aim is to provide an outlet for new and existing members on a weekly basis, providing interesting and fulfilling activities for all generations. The proposed programme of events provides an outlet for members to come together and socialise, take studio photographs, learn new skills and have meaningful activities. Additionally external events are planned to get members both new and existing about to visit local Nature reserves, beauty spots and interesting locations to photograph or just to enjoy a change of scenery. All activities will provide a respite from the fast pace of work and modern living, and give purpose to all members.
There are many dimensions and shades of life, and everyone has their own reality. Our project aims to provide a different Lens, with a different focus to present a different view on life.
