From the moment I looked around the school, prior to the start of my role here in April 2016, I fell in love with our school; should you come and have a look around for yourself, we think you will, too........... Dave McPartlin , Head Teacher
At Flakefleet Primary , we are strongly committed to helping our children grow and develop the skills that they will need to be successful in life. We take great pride in the broad and exciting curriculum we offer our children and the range of support they receive in order to thrive. As importantly as the core academic skills our children learn, we want everyone to be happy within school, feel safe and confident to take on the challenges they will face as they grow older. Resilience, aspirations and the willingness and ability to take risks, believe in oneself and learn from mistakes are qualities that we believe are essential and we commit a lot of time and effort into helping our children and staff be the best versions of themselves. Our school motto is #daretodream and our children, staff and community truly believe that anything is possible. This can-do attitude has resulted in us being third favourite for Christmas Number One in 2018, Happiest Primary School 2018, School of the Year Runners Up in 2019 and Golden Buzzer Finalists in Britain’s Got Talent amongst very many other exciting things!
The world has changed over the last few years but we want to move forward and celebrate what the community of Fleetwood has to offer . Following the success of the Flakefest Festival 2019 , we want to bring it back bigger and better .
Flakefest 2024 is a music festival created by the people of Fleetwood for the people of Fleetwood .
If Glastonbury , Reading , Leeds and the Isle of Wight can pull off Festivals of all shapes and sizes , so can smaller communities like Fleetwood , located on the Fylde Coast of LANCASHIRE.
