We would like you to join us this summer, to celebrate the transformation of a once neglected field, into one of the most exciting community environmental projects in the UK. In under two years 30,000 tonnes of earth have been shifted. This once empty field has been transformed into a fantastic educational resource, a haven for wildlife and local residents. What you will find on the day at the Festival:- Everything you could want for a fun filled day. - Local school Children's Wetlands Parade - Live Music - Side Shows - Beer Tent - Texan BBQ , Cakes, Food, more food, other stalls to many to mention. - Pony Rides - Fun Dog Show & Agility course - Face painting - Pond Dipping - Sports: including Tug o' War, Beat the goalie, - Dancing, Zumba and even a stand with the physicists who worked on the CERNE Hadron Collider
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Because it will create awareness of this fantastic NEWLY created SUDs (Sustainable Urban Drainage System) to the Enfield community and beyond. More importantly it will provide many schools that border Firs Farm with an educational resource on their doorstep. It is after all to be celebrated that is is the biggest of its kind in the UK !
Steps to get it done:
In the current council financial climate and their ever increasing budget constraints this will enable more volunteers to learn about and to come together to help look after their Green Space

We had such a fabulous day at the Festival last year and hope that you did too. We are happy to announce that the next Firs Farm Fest will be held on the 14th July 2018 :) BUT first of all... We have to build an ALL inclusive Café that will embrace everyone in the community and make Firs Farm a much more inclusive space in our community. Want to help with this? Please go to www.spacehive.com/firsfarmcafe Thank you again for your help and we look forward to welcoming you at the 2018 Firs Farm Festival to launch the café. If you would like to get involved please contact us firstname.lastname@example.org.
Its finals day, and I'm not referring to Wimbledon. We are nearly at the finish line, so I'm going to ask if you know anyone else who can pledge a minimum of £2.00 then ask them today, and pledge online for them. The local coffee shop, your hairdressers/barbers, your neighbours, the postman. We need to reach our target on Saturday 9th July 2016. Firs Farm is non-profit making and all monies are put back into making this Festival and success and the wetlands and place for everyone to enjoy! Thank you for all your support so far. You have been great!
