FIREMUSIC is a great series of 6 concerts held at a fire station that has been turned into an arts and cultural centre in hadleigh essex The funds are needed to put on the kind of music thats difficult to hear outside of big City concert halls. We've already done it twice (in 2014 and 2017) but would like to expand to 6 concerts for a spring season in 2019 Musicians come form all over the world and play music from Jazz to classical, to contemporary classical and each concert contains two groups of vastly contrasting music, so theres something for a wide audience as long as you have big ears and an enquiring mind! The concerts are all recorded for posterity and feature video projection onto panels making the venue very warm , vibrant and engrossing Some artists we'd like this time include the 'Delta Saxophone qt' presenting their new project 'Flicks' where they have commissioned composers to write music for special films of great cultural interest and 'Sonifications' a group w

It's always a massive struggle to put on non commerical music but there is a demand because this music is rarely heard outside big city concert halls
its not a new project , we have done it before in 2014 and 2017 but need funding to do again in 2018 whch we would love to do
