Fund Fat Macy's new home

Hello! We appreciate things have been a little bit quiet on the Fat Macy's front for the last few months, but rest assured it's been all hands on deck behind the scenes. We figured we'd send you an email to let you in on all the latest from us here at Fat Macy's including supper clubs, chefs and an update on our HQ. First things first! Our supper clubs are back! We're heading back to the Luminary Bakery this September for two supper clubs on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th and tickets are already on sale. We've also got some dates booked in for 4th, 5th and 6th October - we'll let you know as soon as you can grab your tickets. In other exciting news - we have a new chef on board with us! Nathalie Moukarzel is an incredible chef who created a storm with her Berlin supper clubs. Now living in London, she has cooked at some of the cities top restaurants, including Moro Restaurant. With her Lebanese-influenced food and punchy flavours, we're incredibly excited to have her on board. So far she's been helping us develop a new catering pack, which is available now. And now, an update on our HQ. A message from our founder, Meg: "We really appreciate everyone's support and patience on this. It's nearly been an entire year since we hit our crowdfunding target and we could not have done that without all of your help. There's been a huge amount of work behind the scenes, but unfortunately there have also been a large number of setbacks. There were five or six locations that were looking really promising but for one reason or another didn't work out. We've had the most incredible support from a huge number of people, including the amazing architects at Modulor Studio who have been working with us pro-bono. It's been so great to have so many of you getting in touch to find out how we are getting on and it's been a shame that we haven't had much concrete to share up until this point. But, in great news we've recently moved forward on one particular property. Things aren't official yet, but if things work out this could be huge for the Fat Macy's vision. We'll share more news as we have it, but for the meantime please know that we could not do any of this without your invaluable support. Thank you!"
