Hi everyone, as per our update earlier, we have been given special dispensation to enable us to hit our target. While the campaign is technically displaying as a success, we are mindful that as backers you should be given sufficient time to voice any concern regarding the change that was made to enable us to do this. We truly believe that we can deliver the project that you pledged to exactly as we pitched it, however if you do have an objection or concern you can contact [email protected] by the end of next Wednesday 8 July. Your pledge will not be collected until after that date has passed. If there are no objections then after this date you will be sent an email confirming the success of the campaign and that the pledge will soon be collected (remember you did not actually pay anything when you pledged to us initially, it was contingent on us hitting our target). Dear backers, We are tantalisingly close to hitting our target and being able to deliver our Fashion Hub. This is despite the difficulties we have faced over the last few months, where much of our ability to crowdfund, and in particular attract support from local businesses who themselves are struggling, has been curtailed due to the pandemic. We have been discussing our options to move forward with Spacehive and the GLA. We are proposing to purchase a different model of the Screen Print Package that will help save money, but still enable us to deliver on our objectives of the project. The original one we proposed cost £14,165.38, with the one that we are proposing to now buy costing £9,309.14, therefore producing a cost saving of £4.856.24 - enough to cover the current gap to our funding target. As a backer of this project, we respect the pledge that you have made to supporting us and therefore we wanted to update you on this proposed change, and hope that you agree that this does not alter the fundamentals of the project.
