Whilst we are a mission project, we are open and welcoming to people of any, all or no religions. The community we serve is wide and varied, and we aim to serve any and all that need it. Primarily, we serve the community which live in the immediate area around the project, we also serve the faith community within that area and the wider city.
We have observed a wide range of people using our services and venue. The project plays host to several fledgling businesses (supporting them via low rent and support), provides access to democracy via the local MP’s surgeries. We also signpost for those members of the community who need to access services such as food banks, help with housing and employment as well as providing advocacy services.
Our users and volunteers form an intergenerational, interfaith and diverse community. Through the friendships we form in this setting, we support each other and the wider community, and challenge the loneliness and isolation which is becoming a common part of modern life.
