I want families to share their stories, and those of past generations who may have also grown up in Rochester. This will take the form of photographing, re-photographing, archival materials, sound recordings, online and other visual and written displays.

Why it's a great idea:
This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with and share more about the families that make Rochester a vibrant community to live in. It will explore why individuals have moved to and continue to stay in the town of Rochester. It will allow visual connections with neighbours, young and old, to share a true spirit of the town. The project hopes to promote wellness and community at it's core, giving individuals an opportunity to be involved in a creative project and learning new photography skills they may not have experienced before. It will ultimately celebrate Rochester families and the town as a great place to live.
