To try to raise some funds, to help cover the losses in revenue during the period, that we have not been playing cricket.
We hope to raise some money to cover the costs of running our little club. Even though we are not playing cricket, we still have ongoing costs to running the club. We have many costs including; insurance, water and electricity rates, equipment maintenance(mowers, buildings, fire extinguishers, pat testing), ground rent and we must not forget Paul is still cutting the grass so that we don’t turn up to a hay field when we are lucky enough to return to the ground. Without the support of the members of the club and the wider community it we stand too lose a vast amount of money and with some of our key fundraising events already cancelled due to the virus this platform is ever more important!!
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
If we manage to raise enough money through the crowdfunding it will enable our small club, to continue, to enable players from many backgrounds to continue to play cricket in the future. In an area of the country which is the most socially deprived, to continue to provide fitness and social facilities to the community is essential.
