Complete modernisation and refurbishment of the practice facilities at Euxton Cricket Club to ensure use by all members of the local cricket community
We are looking to overhaul and update our existing outdoor artificial turf practice facilities. The aim being to increase the overall size whilst creating a more modern, safer space for all members of the local cricket community to enjoy. We have had great use of our existing facility and it has served the club well. But it is now around 15 years old and no longer meets the required health and safety standards required for continued use. The refurbished practice facility will meet the latest ECB standards and allow cricket practice to take place more often and in a safe environment, enabling all players young and old to improve their skills. Our ever increasing junior section, including our new girls team members will benefit massively from the new facility.

The refurbished all weather practice facility will help cricketers of all ages to stay fit and active by providing more opportunities to train. The increased size of the facility will allow us to increase the use and encourage more members of the local community to come and try out cricket.

We have now completed the project, it looks amazing, we are really happy with the outcome. This new facility will have a positive impact on our club for years to come, we can't wait to open it up. Hello, Work has now started on our exciting nets refurbishment project. Your kind donations resulted in the club receiving a further £13,309 of match funding from the Lancashire Sports & Culture Fund. This was an amazing result and was only possible because of your help. As you can see, work is now well underway and progressing well (despite the weather). It will be ready to use when outdoor training starts in the new year. We'll provide further updates as the project progresses, once again, a massive thank you from all at Euxton Cricket Club.

VolunteerEuxton Cricket Club is a welcoming and inclusive non-profit organisation with the aim of providing the oppourtunity for as many people as possible from the local area to enjoy the game of cricket.
We provide cricket for junior players from ages 5 upwards as part of the England & Wales Cricket Board All Stars programme. We currently run over 10 age group teams from U9s upto U15s for young players to participate in, including our newly formed girls team. We have three open age teams primarily playing at weekends.
Project Owner: Euxton Cricket Club The Project Owner takes legal responsibility for receiving and spending the funds raised and ensuring the project is delivered.
