To equip and furnish 2 youth buses with resources for children and young people to access. The vehicles are a portable, pop up, safe space for young people to engage in across Walsall. They will go to areas with limited youth provision, on the streets, in parks where they meet and hang out! The buses haven't been used for a few years and are in desperate need of updating and refurbishing. The equipment needed has been chosen by young people who attend other youth projects and have said these will help it become a mobile youth club. They have suggested a TV with the latest games console, portable music speaker so they can play their own music through, sports equipment for when its warmer and arts materials for young people to be creative! The youth buses will be used by charities and youth groups in the Walsall Youth in Unity partnership to benefit young people.

Why it's a great idea:

Youth workers can more effective engage young people on the streets with these better resources. It will attract young people to see what's going on. Long term benefits are supporting children and young people's well being, having positive role models, to challenge and discourage from causing anti-social behaviour.
