By Mossley Community Connections CIC
We want to address the growing issue of social isolation in our area and will engage the public with rewarding activities such as arts, crafts, BSL and gentle exercise.
We want to further establish our art and crafts group which provides a safe, warm, and welcoming space where the community can engage in a wide variety of creative activities, explore various artists and art forms, at the same time building friendships with fellow community members. We want to offer British Sign Language (BSL) classes delivered by a profoundly Deaf person. Our aim is to encourage inclusivity and help break down barriers. These classes will help empower individuals to learn how to communicate through BSL, develop a new skill and give more understanding between hearing and hearing impaired individuals.
What we'll deliver:

Brilliant news, thanks everyone!
Here is an example of a pencil drawing done by the art tutor we are hoping to be able to get on Mossley to do regular classes for residents. We don't expect everyone to draw like this but drawing or painting things that you like is a great way to relax and feel good. It's taking part that is the important thing. Fingers crossed we reach our target!
