Patrington Cricket Club plays its home matches at the beautiful Southside ground, below the delightful 189 foot spire of the idyllic St Patrick’s Church, the Queen of Holderness, regarded by learned scholars as the most beautiful parish church in the entirety of England. Cricket has been played at Southside since 1850.
The Club has three senior sides, playing in the ATTIS ECB Yorkshire Premier League North, with its 1st team now playing in ECB Premier Division II, the highest standard of cricket in its 175 year history - playing against the likes of Acomb, Bridlington, Carlton Towers, Harrogate II and York II.
Under the expert stewardship of Andy Guy and (more recently) James McGinty, the club has a well established junior section, underpinned by the highly successful All Stars and Dynamos initiative.
With a recently refurbished clubhouse and tearoom, local residents are always very welcome on match days, both to watch the games and purchase refreshments from our well stocked tearoom.
