Dunvant RFC and Killay community council are coming together to celebrate the queens jubilee at Broadacre
This year, to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee, Dunvant rugby club (on behalf of the Dunvant community) and Killay Community Council are coming together for the biggest garden party around! Held at the rugby club we are looking to raise funds for a bouncy castle, entertainment, face painting and all the other things that would make a fantastic end to the celebrations. The club have kindly donated their facilities so the event will have everything needed to run a successful event, outdoor space, car parking, toilets are all on site. We will be engaging with the local school, dance groups, choirs etc put on some brilliant entertainment.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
On the day, all you will need to do is turn up with a blanket or chair, a picnic or money fro the BBQ, then sit back and enjoy the day in the top of the Clyne valley. The event is aimed at all ages of the community, from toddlers to have their faces painted and play on the bouncy castle to the older generation who just want to sit back and reminisce, they could even get up for a little dance.
Steps to get it done:
The council will match fund all raised on this site, if you could donate anything you can afford that would be amazing to make this a really special event.
