We aim to secure funding for Dunsop Bridge Jubilee Play Area Charitable Trust, with provision & enhancement of recreational opportunities & promote the well-being of families of our local community
Sorry this project was unsuccessful, we did not reach our fundraising goal.
Our primary goal is to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive play area that fosters physical activity, imaginative play, and social interaction among children of all abilities. By providing a vibrant and stimulating environment, we strive to empower children to develop their physical, cognitive, and social skills while fostering a sense of community cohesion. Through this crowdfunding, we aim to construct and maintain a play area that will serve as a valuable resource for promoting healthy lifestyles, facilitating social connections, and nurturing the overall well-being of children in Dunsop Bridge and surrounding areas. By investing in this project, we aim to create a lasting impact on the lives of children, their families, and the wider community. Current equipment has deteriorated our project focuses on procuring and installing new, high-quality play equipment that meets the latest safety standards and guidelines
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
Our project focuses on procuring and installing new, high-quality play equipment that meets the latest safety standards and guidelines. This includes replacing worn-out structures, upgrading swing sets, installing interactive play features, and incorporating inclusive elements to accommodate children with varying abilities. By undertaking this project, we aim to create a vibrant and secure play environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, and social interaction and development of children in our community. The grant will enable us to revitalize the play area, ensuring that children have access to a safe and engaging space that encourages active play, imagination, and social interaction. Ultimately, our goal is to enhance overall wellbeing providing a place to thrive, explore, and create lasting memories.
Steps to get it done:
The Dunsop Bridge Jubilee Play Area Charitable Trust, was built and opened in 2001 and we have continued to enhance the equipment and facility through the work of the volunteers and fund raising activities. The play area is a vital facility for our rural local community.
