More about our impact
Volunteering, jobs & education
We supported 8 people to volunteer and provide valuable skills and energy to lay on fundraising events and to support their peers in exercise groups.
Arts, culture & heritage
We helped to raise activity levels and enhance health and wellbeing in the community by enabling people with long-term heath problems or disabilities to take part in physical exercise.
Activity, health and leisure
This project supported people who would normally find it challenging to exercise, to get fitter and to make progress towards their own individual health-related goals. There are always barriers which need to be overcome and we set about identifying what if anything was holding back each person to start exercising and to stick at it over time. Once we knew what the barriers were we could find ways to overcome them and to make exercise a part of daily living.
