Your support will help with key maintenance of the clubhouse and grounds during the COVID-19 crisis.
During the COVID-19 crisis Davenham Cricket Club has had to close the bar and cease from any cricket activity including vital fund raising events. The club continues to have substantial on-going overheads and any support that members and the wider community can give at this time will help to ensure that this community hub can be up and running as soon as we get the "All Clear" from governement to recommence our activity. Playing and enjoying cricket and ensuring there is a place for the whole community to come together will be as important as ever once this is all over.
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
The lockdown has had a huge impact on people's physical and mental well-being. Cricket is a great form of exercise for all ages and we want to be able to offer this again as soon as restrictions are lifted. We have a thrithing and enthusiastic junior membership who are itching to play some cricket and our senior teams who can't wait to get back into action. With your help we will be able to restore some normality back to life. Let's hope the idyllic summer scenes of cricket on the square and members enjoying the offerings of the bar are not too far away.
