Addict Dance Academy is a commercial dance training centre based in Leicester City Centre, and it is our mission to be at the forefront of commercial dance in the east midlands providing an opportunity for all the community to experience fun and inspiring dance.
We currently deliver a BTEC in Dance and Performing Arts for students aged 16 and above, and strive to provide excellent training in all forms of dance including commercial, urban, hip-hop, jazz, ballet, fitness training, Latin American and contemporary dance.
Classes are fun yet challenging and delivered by teachers who are all currently working within the industry in either west end shows, X-Factor, have TV experience, or danced for the London Olympics 2012 have worked with the Royal Ballet, or have even worked with celebrities such as Mariah Carey, Cheryl Cole, Coldplay, Take That, Kylie Minogue, Take That, The Wanted, Duffy and Dianna Vickers!
For those students wishing to gain extra commercial dance training at a competitive level, Addict Dance Academy houses four commercial companies; Addict, Influence, Switch and Sickle, all of which aim to produce high end dancers and cutting edge performance.
Two of these companies; Addict and Influence, have recently made a huge impact on the popular TV show, Sky One’s Got To Dance! Both receiving overwhelmed responses from all three judges; Kimberly Wyatt, Ashley Banjo, and JLS’ Aston Merrygold, quoting “I will speak on behalf of the commercial work, we are very proud of you!...I want to be in Addict….you just blew everyone else out of the water!”.

The growing reputation of Addict Dance Academy is attracting more and more dedicated dancers each year, from all across England to train at our studios, therefore it is important that we can continue improving our facilities, knowledge and experiences, in order to accommodate the growing number of dancers and continue providing the best dance training in the East Midlands.
