More about our impact
The environment
Less number of people used their vehicles at the weekends and when our bikes were used on days outside the project so this helped the local pollution level to be reduced as well as the fact that gradually more people will prefer cycling to driving.
The local economy
Three more people had long-term jobs through our project. The project will also create other roles in the second year.
Volunteering, jobs & education
Two instructors and one volunteer had long-term jobs through our project. We also hired additional trainers to support newly qualified instructors.
Arts, culture & heritage
Our projects support the culture of sports, cycling and healthy life style in the UK.
Activity, health and leisure
Our project combined a fun sports activity by also promoting healthy life style within its objectives. In addition, a new social network has been built up through our gatherings.
