We seek funding for theatre drapes, and tracks to complete the fit-out of our new studio theatre and Education Centre, enhancing its versatility for diverse productions and educational program
Our project focuses on the final fit-out of the new studio theatre and Education Centre at Lowther Pavilion, a vital cultural and educational hub. The theatre shell is complete, and we now seek funding to install essential theatre curtains, drapes, and tracks. These elements are crucial for transforming the space into a fully functional, flexible performance area, adaptable for a range of productions and community events. The studio theatre will serve as an intimate venue for diverse artistic endeavors, including drama, music, and dance, and will also host educational workshops and youth programs. This new facility will significantly enhance our ability to support emerging talent, provide educational opportunities, and deliver high-quality cultural experiences to our community. By securing this funding, we can ensure that the theatre is fully equipped to meet the needs of both performers and audiences, fostering creativity and engagement across all age groups.

Operating as a separate independent charity to the Lowther Pavilion Trust, they have achieved significant milestones and raised over £100,000 in donations to support the theatre’s activities.
These funds have made a remarkable impact on improving the theatre experience, enabling essential initiatives such as: the replacement of the main theatre Sound System, ensuring high-quality audio for performances.; the refurbishment of the theatre floor to create a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for visitors. Recognizing the importance of accessibility, the group's donations have facilitated the installation of a new hearing loop system. This enhancement allows people with hearing impairments to fully engage and enjoy performances at the theatre. Additionally, their support has covered expenses associated with the current bar, enhancing the overall facilities and amenities available to theatregoers.
