The idea
Young Chaos is a transformative content creation programme tackling the industry's quality and alignment issues. By bridging the gap between businesses and creators, it provides tailored, high-quality video and photography solutions designed to meet business needs with precision. Aspiring creators are meticulously selected and trained through real-world projects, ensuring they develop the skills, professionalism, and mindset necessary to thrive. This innovative approach not only delivers consistent and impactful content but also nurtures the next generation of creators, reinstating professionalism and trust across the industry.
What we'll deliver
- Recruit and onboard 30–50 vetted young creators (aged 16–30) across the Midlands
- Run 4 structured training workshops covering content creation, storytelling, editing, and working with clients
- Deliver monthly content shoot days (minimum 2 per month) supporting 10+ local businesses
- Create a repeatable programme model that can be rolled out across additional cities
- Provide paid opportunities for creators, with each participant working on real client briefs
- Establish a creator network platform connecting businesses with vetted creators for ongoing work
Why it's a great idea
This project will improve the local creative economy by creating paid opportunities for young people aged 16–30, giving them access to real-world experience, mentorship, and skills that lead to long-term employment or freelance careers. It will support businesses by providing reliable, high-quality content that improves their visibility, communication, and growth in an increasingly digital marketplace.
By introducing structure and standards into content creation, the project helps rebuild trust between businesses and creators, reducing wasted spend and improving outcomes. It also creates a stronger sense of community by connecting people through collaboration, shared learning, and creative expression, helping to tackle isolation and unlock potential in areas where opportunities are often limited.
