Hello, Firstly, thank you for the time and support in terms of backing this community project and helping us reach our funding target. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we will no loner be able to move this project forward as certain factors out of our control have meant we can no longer deliver it in a way which represents truly what we set out to do, and utilise our backers pledges for. We put a lot of time and effort into getting this project over the line, and appreciate that all our backers spent time and money in order to support us here, so we're incredibly sorry for that. If anyone would still like to have their pledge used for a impactful project, we will be using all none refunded pledges to fund the delivery of free wildflower seeds, which we will distribute to participants of our upcoming community greening event 'Wild About Sneinton' on April 12th. "Wild About Sneinton" aims to transform neglected green spaces within Sneinton into vibrant, biodiverse areas that benefit both the environment and the local community. Through this we hope too ; Enhance Biodiversity: Introduce pollinator-friendly plants and install insect hotels to support local wildlife year-round. Create Resilient Landscapes: Implement sustainable planting practices to ensure long-term ecological health. Establish Green Pathways: Develop interconnected green spaces that serve as corridors for wildlife and recreational areas for residents. Foster Community Engagement: Conduct workshops and routine sessions to educate and empower residents, fostering a sense of ownership and stewardship. Through these initiatives, we aim to cultivate a greener, more connected Sneinton, where revitalised public spaces enhance well-being, environmental awareness, and community pride.
