Crossflatts CC are looking to raise funds to cover the loss of bar takings and sponsorship that help to keep our junior section running and provide equipment for local children to use.
Due to the Covid--19 Pandemic there will be no cricket played before 1 July at the earliest and Crossflatts CC are in a position of still having to pay bills with no income. We have built up a thriving junior section in the last four years and had big plans for the 2020 with a new under 13's team, girls cricket section and Dynamo's cricket to add to our teams from 2019. A lack of bar takings and sponsorship from local businesses means we are currently unable to invest in new equipment that will be needed once cricket is safe to restart. We want to raise funds to allow us to provide the equipment needed for our current juniors and those we hope to attract to the game to ensure they can continue to enjoy cricket at Crossflatts CC
What we'll deliver:
Why it's a great idea:
With the cricket season unable to commence our fundraising and sponsorship income has been reduced to zero. We would like to ensure we are in a position to provide a place to participate in cricket safely and with good equipment for our local children once it is safe to do so.
