Teversal Cricket Club is 98 years young this year, and with our centenary just a couple of years away, we are endeavouring to increase the numbers of local children who enjoy participating in the English Cricket Board [ECB] All-Stars and Dynamos cricket coaching programmes, held after school on our club ground in Teversal, Sutton-in-Ashfield.
We are also currently negotiating with Ashfield District Council to take over the Trusteeship with the Teversal visitors centre, football, and bowls clubs, of the Teversal sports and social facility, located next to the beautiful and expansive trails linking Teversal to Tibshelf, Brierley Park, Skegby, and Pleasley Mining Museum. This will be an exciting moment that will enable our clubs to re-develop an area that recently has fallen into decline.
