At Arthouse Cafe we are passionate about creating space for people at all ages to grow in, experience and enjoy creativity. In this project, we want to provide more opportunities to the local community by delivering a programme of workshops to pupils of local schools. We have an ideal space that is flexible and can offer a variety of mediums such as letterpress printing, ceramics, painting and textiles.

What we'll deliver:

  • We will provide 32 free Childrens workshops to be undertaken by the end of July 2023
  • We will engage with local schools to select the year groups and programme
  • If funding allows we will host a exhibition evening at the end of the programme displaying the children's work

Why it's a great idea:

Our project will provide a wider creative learning experience for children, that schools may not be able to offer. We believe that Art gives children a form of expression and a deeper understanding of Art Culture.

Steps to get it done:

  • Engaging and working with the local schools to select year groups and programme
