The idea
Creative Connections invite individuals of all backgrounds to participate in a dynamic series of 12 Upcycling workshops & events aimed at fostering creativity & connection.By blending artistic exploration with practical skill-building,the project will provide opportunities to learn furniture up-cycling techniques, refine technical abilities & embrace sustainable practices. Delivered in a welcoming, supportive space, the initiative seeks to combat social isolation (especially among vulnerable groups), while raising mental health awareness.Completed works may be proudly displayed in a community exhibition or auctioned to sustain the charitable mission so we can continue helping those in need of assistance.
We also aim to create pop-up 'shopfront' events, fairs & stalls, whereby community members can purchase brand new household items - donated or purchased from our partner companies which allows us to retail them at a significantly reduced price to aid the cost of living crisis.
